This week, we have a new classmate in our class. Her name is Emily. Emily is very friendly and has a warm smile that makes everyone feel welcome. She has curly brown hair and bright blue eyes.
On her first day, our teacher, Ms. Wang, introduced Emily to the class. Emily told us that she moved here from another city because her dad got a new job. She said she likes reading books and playing soccer, just like me! I was excited to have someone new to play with.
During recess, I invited Emily to join our game of tag. She was very fast and soon became friends with everyone. We laughed and had a great time running around the playground. Emily is really good at making new friends.
In class, Emily sits next to me. She is very smart and always raises her hand to answer questions. I help her with things she doesn’t know yet about our school, like where the library is and how to find the art room. She learns quickly and is already a great part of our class.
Having Emily as a new classmate has been wonderful. She is kind, fun, and a good friend. I am happy she joined our class, and I look forward to many more fun times together. Emily has made our class even better!
